I have a external HD that is just a storage device. It doesn't have an OS on it. I found out from a binary dump that my ntldr is missing. I read your website but it doesn't have any information about external HD's. Could you please help me solve this problem?

@CokeDude I'm a little confused as to what you need. Usually people are trying to start their computer and have it boot off the internal hard drive. Are you attempting to boot off the external hard drive?

If the problem is that the external hard drive causes the computer to say "NTLDR is missing" when it's plugged in as it's booting up, search your BIOS for the "boot order" and set your internal hard drive as the first device.
